PATIENTS
Andie worked in an acute and sub-acute care setting with a number of patients who suffered from strokes, Parkinson's disease, head & neck cancer, along with other neurological disorders resulting in difficulties with:
- Apraxia of speech
- Dysarthia
- Dysphagia (swallowing)
- Aphasia
- Voice disorders
- Paradoxical voice disorders
- Cognition impairments
ADULTS
Specifically, Andie has applied evidence-based practice approaches in providing treatments to adults presenting with:
- Apraxia of speech
- Aphasia
- Moderate to severe expressing language impairments
- Adult neurogenic disorders
- Paradoxical voice disorders
- Auditory comprehension deficits
CHILDREN
Andie also works with children presenting with:
- Articulation and Phonological disorders
- Receptive and expressive language disorders
- Autism/Asperger's
- Auditory comprehension deficits

Andie Schneider
Andie Schneider, MA, CCC-SLP is an ASHA certified and New York State Licensed Speech Language Pathologist.
She has a Master of Arts from Montclair State University and a Bachelor of Arts from The George Washington University.
Andie is LSVT certified (Lee Silverman Voice Therapy), designed for patients with Parkinson’s Disease, and has experience working in an acute and sub-acute hospital setting. Andie has experience incorporating the use of alternative and augmentative communication devices (i.e. communication boards and speech generating devices including the Lingraphica, Dynavox, and Smalltalk) throughout speech and language therapy with her patients.
Andie will begin working with otolaryngologist, Dr. Jonathan Aviv, at the ENT & Allergy Associates office, starting December 5th!
